Joint session with head of the MoD construction department, 03.07.2011
Dear members,
A business meeting between the organization and representatives from the MoD construction department took place on 03.07.2011, as part of the fruitful collaborations between the two entities. During the meeting, several important issues were brought to attention (see below), and it was decided to promote them further, following the guidelines designed during the meeting.
The meeting, like previous ones, was of a casual but topical atmosphere. It was attended by head of the construction department at the MoD, Mr. Dubi Goldfinger, head of the MoD department for advisors and planners liaison department, Arch. David Saposhnik, and other relevant representatives. IOCEA Chairman and General manager were present on behalf of our organization.
The following matters were discussed:
- Program rates and the opinion of the organization.
- Reduction from the MoD budget for overtime (different from the financial and economic regulation guidelines of the Account General) – attached and specified below. See relevant document from the IOCEA head to the head of the construction department regarding this subject.
- Adoption of Israel Paths project manager rates – Nov 2007 version by the MoD construction department.
- Inclusion of architectural and new firms (registered in the database) in MoD project rotation.
