Dear Members,
During the last three years, our organization has put in relentless efforts (together with economists from Precise Ltd.) with the representatives of the Ministry of Construction and Housing, in order to formulate the new Ministry of Construction and Housing rate for process 8 – structures.
The professional discussions initiated by the organization regarding this issue were participated by some of the representatives of the various professions, headed by Ar. Eyal Izkin. On part of the Ministry of Construction and Housing, head of the planning and engineering administration Ar. Liora Seidman led the process together with her team.
During the years of the conduction of this process, the organization has put in many resources and efforts, including, among other things, participation in many meetings and the preparation of many and detailed position papers. These efforts eventually led this long and complex process to the acceptance of some of the organization’s positions and principles on this matter, and so have actually led to the integration of significant fee increases in the final version of the rate! (Relative to the initial version presented to the organization). Needless to say, the members of our organization will benefit from these increases.
In addition and for your attention –

The formula according to which the fee is calculated is highly complex, and therefore the organization will act with the Ministry of Construction and Housing’s representatives in order to promote the preparation of a simple program designed to allow anyone to calculate such fees without the help of special consultants and specialists.

Following an examination of the rate’s implementation, the organization will initiate and promote in the future, with the Ministry of Construction and Housing, any required amendments and changes to the rates.
